Job summary

The University of Colorado Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology, in partnership with Children’s Hospital Colorado - Colorado Springs, is adding a full-time pediatric anesthesiologist to its growing faculty. You will provide anesthesia care within a physician-only group and contribute to a broad case mix across pediatric surgery, ENT, orthopedics, and more.

Job Description: Join a physician-only group where attendings personally deliver 100% of anesthesia care. The University of Colorado Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology, in partnership with Children's Hospital Colorado - Colorado Springs, is adding a full-time pediatric anesthesiologist to its growing faculty.

As Colorado's only pediatric-specialty hospital outside metro Denver, we serve a six-state referral region with a broad case mix: pediatric surgery, ENT (including craniofacial), orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, Level II trauma, and acute pain. Regional anesthesia is part of everyday practice. There is no cardiac, transplant, or burn surgery.

Call is shared equitably across in-house and pager coverage, with weekend call grouped to allow more free weekends. Faculty teach medical students and fellows in the OR; there is no research requirement.
