Job summary

The Staff Pad is seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist to join a pediatric ambulatory surgery center in Jackson, MS. This part-time role focuses on no call, no weekends or holidays, and supports safe, high-quality anesthesia care for pediatric patients.

You will collaborate with dentists, nurses, and surgical staff to manage anesthesia for about seven pediatric cases per OR day, maintaining patient comfort and safety in a fast-paced ASC environment.

Qualifications

• Experience providing anesthesia care to pediatric patients.
• PALS required within 6 months of hire; BLS and AHA certification current.
• Board certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, high-quality general anesthesia care for pediatric and special needs patients.
• Collaborates with dentists, nurses, dental assistants, and surgical staff to ensure excellent patient care.
• Manages anesthesia care for approximately seven pediatric patients per OR day.
• Prioritizes patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes in a fast-paced ASC environment.
