North American Partners in Anesthesia is seeking an experienced anesthesiologist to join our group at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC. The role involves providing comprehensive anesthesia care across a busy surgical service while collaborating with surgeons, nurses, and staff to ensure patient safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate holds an MD/DO, fellowship trained in pediatric anesthesiology, and valid ECFMG/FLEX credentials.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
• Fellowship Trained in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
• ECFMG and FLEX credentials.
• Completion of approved residency in anesthesia.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.
