American Anesthesiology of North Carolina, PLLC seeks an anesthesiologist to join a Wilmington, NC group practice providing comprehensive anesthesia care across a 678-bed tertiary center. The role includes pre-anesthesia evaluations, anesthesia planning, and leadership within the department.

The position offers a $425K annual salary for non-call work, with a $50K sign-on and up to $5K relocation assistance, plus a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
• Fellowship trained in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
• ECFMG and FLEX certification.
• Completion of an accredited anesthesia residency.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent.
• Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients.
• Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Monitor physiologic status and perform interventions as needed.
• Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership.
