Job summary

Dayton Children's Hospital, in partnership with Shriners Children’s Ohio, seeks 3 fellowship-trained Pediatric Anesthesiologists for full- or part-time roles based at Dayton Children’s Ohio campus. Approximately 20–40% time at Dayton Children’s with majority in the all-MD perioperative team.

The role features anesthesia techniques for pediatric patients, including regional blocks and ultrasound-guided techniques, with no CRNA supervision and a 1-in-4 home call schedule.

Qualifications

• Fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology required.
• Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for Ohio medical licensure.
• MD or DO

Responsibilities

• Operate in an all-MD model, with ~90% OR time.
• Conduct preoperative assessments.
• Provide PACU care when needed.
• Rotating 1-in-4 home call schedule.
• Surgical schedules vary from 1 to 5 days per week.
