St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memphis, seeks a full-time Staff Physician-Anesthesiologist to work with clinical staff, ensure safety and quality of pediatric care, supervise staff, and maintain compliance and accurate reporting.

The ideal candidate is an ACGME-accredited pediatric anesthesiology fellow, board certified or eligible in anesthesiology (pediatric anesthesiology preferred), and eligible for Tennessee licensure.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in anesthesiology.
• Board certified or eligible in pediatric anesthesiology preferred.
• Unrestricted medical license to practice in Tennessee.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient-care duties according to established standards and protocols.
• supervises assigned staff including performance and scheduling.
• Ensures compliance with HCFA billing guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
• Provides patient and family support and reports to third party providers as required.
