Job summary

UPMC is seeking highly talented pediatric anesthesiologists to deliver anesthesia care at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology and fellowship-trained in pediatric anesthesiology are required, with eligibility for an unrestricted PA license in Pennsylvania.

Daylight schedule with M-F 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (or 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM) and in-house call 5p-7:30a plus beeper 6p-7a.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology.
• Fellowship-trained in pediatric anesthesiology.
• Must possess or qualify for an unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for pediatric patients, including diverse subspecialty cases.
• supervise CRNAs in 2:1 concurrency; in-house call 5p–7:30a with beeper 6p–7a.
• Support academic mission with potential for academic appointment.
