Job summary

UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh seeks highly skilled pediatric anesthesiologists to provide anesthesia care for a diverse pediatric patient population. Board-certified or board-eligible candidates with fellowship training in pediatric anesthesiology are preferred, and licensing in Pennsylvania is required or eligible.

The position includes daylight scheduling, in-house call, CRNA supervision, and opportunities for academic appointment within a large, financially strong health system.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology.
• Fellowship-trained in pediatric anesthesiology.
• Eligible for or possess an unrestricted PA medical license (state PA).

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for pediatric and mixed cases at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
• Supervise CRNAs with a 2:1 concurrency target.
• Participate in in-house call and post-call duties as required.
• Contribute to academic activities and potential clinical/translational research.
