Job summary

Children's National Hospital in Washington, DC seeks Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs) to join the Cardiac Anesthesiology team. You will implement anesthesia plans under licensed anesthesiologists and support intraoperative care and monitoring.

Qualifications

• MS in Anesthesia from an accredited program (required).
• Minimum 1 year pediatric care experience preferred.
• Pretesting and calibrating anesthesia equipment and monitors.
• Invasive catheter placement and regional anesthesia experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect preoperative data and perform physical examinations.
• Manage intraoperative care and anesthesia delivery.
• Place venous/arterial catheters and manage airway.
• Administer cardiovascular drugs as needed for anesthesia.
• Contribute to research, education, and administrative tasks.
