Job summary

University of Colorado Anschutz is seeking a full-time Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join the Department of Anesthesiology, Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology. The role is based at Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO) on the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO, with a focus on pediatric patients undergoing various procedures.

Qualifications

• CAA/CRNA certification required
• Pediatric anesthesia experience preferred
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work under supervision of attending anesthesiologists

Responsibilities

• Record events during anesthesia, vitals, drugs, and procedures.
• Transport patients to PACU and provide handoff reports.
• Maintain patient progress notes and comply with billing requirements.
• Collaborate with anesthesia team and teaching responsibilities.
