Job summary

Nicklaus Children’s Hospital seeks a Nurse Anesthetist to provide pediatric anesthesia care under the direct supervision of a Pediatric Anesthesiologist. You will assess patients preoperatively, prepare the anesthesia plan, and participate in the full intraoperative course.

Responsibilities include airway management, postoperative follow-up, and documentation. Candidates must hold a Master’s or Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia and active Florida licensure with NBCRNA certification.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia from an AANA-accredited program.
• Florida APRN license in good standing.
• NBCRNA certification.
• Current BLS, PALS, ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care under supervision of a Pediatric Anesthesiologist.
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluation and risk assessment.
• Monitor patient during anesthesia with appropriate devices and documentation.
• Assist in airway management and perioperative care.
