You will perform preop history and exams, verify consent and NPO status, set up anesthesia equipment, monitor during procedures, document every 5 minutes, and participate in Time Out and post‑anesthesia handoffs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAAHEP‑accredited).
• NCCAA certified Anesthesiologist Assistant.
• Florida AA licensure in good standing.
• Active BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications.
• Clear Level II background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric anesthesia care under the supervision of a Pediatric Anesthesiologist.
• Obtain patient history and perform physical examination.
• Verify identity, procedure, site, consent, and NPO status.
• Monitor vital signs and anesthesia delivery; document every 5 minutes.
• Set up rooms, perform pre‑anesthetic meds orders, and assist in intubation and emergence.
