Job summary

Children’s Mercy Kansas City’s Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine seeks a MD/DO or MD/PhD pathologist who is board-certified or board-eligible. Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology in AP or AP/CP is required; pediatric pathology subspecialty is preferred.

The role includes signing out pediatric surgical pathology cases and autopsies. Academic appointment at University of Missouri–Kansas City with ties to UMKC and KUMC, and involvement in teaching, research, and fellowship

Qualifications

• Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology in AP or AP/CP is required.
• Board-certified or board-eligible; pediatric pathology interest preferred.
• Experience signing out pediatric surgical pathology cases and autopsies.
