Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an Ambulatory Nurse with prior RN clinic experience, ideally in family medicine or pediatrics, to join our Illinois team. There will be training in Urbana before transitioning to Bloomington full time.

The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to individuals, families and communities within the state scope of practice. Required qualifications include an Illinois RN license, BLS certification within 30 days, and an Associate’s Degree in Nursing with over 1 year of RN

Qualifications

Licensure as RN in Illinois.
BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
At least 1 year of RN work experience.

Responsibilities

Provide competent health care to patients and families within the practice scope.
Ensure documentation of care is complete and delivered health education.
Act as a preceptor and support development of staff and students.
Assist in leadership initiatives to improve care quality and outcomes.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and supervise care by others.
Conduct patient education and triage as needed.
