Boston Medical Center is seeking an Ambulatory Pharmacy Clinical Specialist in Pediatrics to optimize drug therapy for pediatric patients. You will provide drug information to patients and clinicians, educate residents and students, and lead clinical projects within the ambulatory clinic.

You will coordinate formulary activities, ensure billing compliance, and work with a multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes and population health.

Qualifications

• Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
• Massachusetts pharmacist license in good standing by hire date.
• Completion of a PGY1 residency with ambulatory focus or PGY2 ambulatory care/pediatric residency.

• Develop and implement quality improvement projects.
• Maintain competency through continuing education.
• Attend department staff development conferences and activities.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Assist with formulary management, monographs, and guidelines.
• Collaborate in building order sets and improving EPIC efficiency.
• Meet hospital standards and contribute to patient safety.
• Precepts and educate pharmacy residents and students.
• Provide pediatric-focused pharmacotherapy services and patient-centered care.
