Job summary

MUSC Children's Health is seeking a Registered Nurse II for the CHS - Children's Ambulatory Center (Offsite) in South Carolina. The RN will provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients under general supervision, following nursing processes to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Requires BSN preferred; minimum one year RN experience; BLS certification. Work hours are 6a-3p, with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred; RN staff hired on or after July 1, 2013 with an Associate or Diploma degree in nursing must enroll in accredited BSN program within two years and obtain BSN within four years.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse required.
• Scrub & circulating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe and effective care and collaborate with health care team to achieve outcomes.
• Maintain standards of nursing practice and participate in unit activities.
