Job summary

Dayton Children's Hospital is seeking an Ambulatory Nurse to join the Pediatric Surgery/Plastic Surgery Clinic on a part-time schedule. The role reports to the Administrative Manager and performs treatments, administers medications, and assists procedures performed without anesthesia in a sterile environment.

The successful candidate will have graduation from an accredited nursing program, an Ohio RN license, and a commitment to obtain a BSN within five years of hire; patient/family education

Qualifications

• Part-time Ambulatory Nurse in a busy clinic setting.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments and administer medications.
• Assist procedures performed without anesthesia using aseptic technique.
• Educate patients and families and provide care planning.
• Delegate and supervise assistive personnel per hospital policy.
