Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital seeks a Pediatric Ambulatory Float registered nurse to expand pediatric knowledge across diverse outpatient settings. You will work with new colleagues on varied shifts, enhancing skills and contributing to patient care across Otolaryngology, Adolescent, Pulmonary, Primary Care/Urgent Care, Gastroenterology, Nutrition, Neurology and more.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Nursing, 1 year of outpatient pediatric RN experience (BCH preferred), and Massachusetts RN

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• 1 year of outpatient pediatric RN experience preferred.
• Massachusetts RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care in outpatient settings across multiple specialties.
• Partner with multidisciplinary staff to manage clinic flow and care needs.
• Triage and manage phone calls; coordinate care for patients.
• Communicate with patients, families and health care providers.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.
• Work 32 or 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts.
