Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital seeks an experienced RN for its Pediatric Ambulatory Float pool. You will care for patients across diverse outpatient clinics, expanding pediatric knowledge and collaborating with colleagues to support clinic flow.

The role requires a BSN, valid MA RN license, and at least 1 year of outpatient pediatric experience. Shifts are 32 or 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour shifts; opportunities to float to satellites in Waltham and Weymouth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• 1 year of outpatient pediatric RN experience preferred.
• Experience in multiple clinical settings beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in outpatient pediatric settings across diverse clinics.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to manage clinic flow and patient care.
• Triaging and managing phone calls; coordinating care for patients.
• Communicate with patients, families and other health care providers.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.
