Job summary

Phoenix Children's is seeking a Clinical Nurse for the Allergy Clinic to oversee daily allergy shot clinic operations and provide safe immunotherapy to pediatric patients. Responsibilities include injections, monitoring for reactions, collaborating with allergists, and educating families on plans of care.

Ideal candidate has 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience, pediatric exposure, and Arizona RN licensure. Shift is M-F, 8am-5pm at the Thomas campus; no new grads.

Qualifications

• Two year ADN or BSN or Diploma Nursing degree.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments across age groups and develop a nursing plan of care.
• Administer allergy injections and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Coordinate care with allergists and other team members in ambulatory setting.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Document accurately in the medical record and maintain confidentiality.
• Promote patient safety, infection control and high-quality nursing care.
