Job summary

UNC Health Care is seeking a Pediatric APP (NP/PA) for our Float Pool serving the Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill area. The role offers per diem, with part-time options (1-2 days).

Licensure in North Carolina and 1+ year of pediatric experience required; Epic knowledge a plus. Must work at least once every 90 days.

Compensation is $60/hour. Location: around the Triangle area, onsite. No remote work.

Education Requirements

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.

Licensure/Certification Requirements

• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider (i.e., Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) in the state of North Carolina.
• Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.

Professional Experience Requirements

• 1-plus year of experience is required (minimum requirement).

• Demonstrated clinical competency.
• Effective leadership skills. Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication and strong analytical skills.
• Effective interaction to ensure the successful care of patients in the clinical setting.
• Documentation in the medical record to substantiate accurate billing.
