Job summary

CommonSpirit Health through Yavapai Regional Medical Center is seeking a Pediatric Adult MST Nurse to provide comprehensive care from adolescent to geriatric patients on site in Prescott Valley, AZ. The role emphasizes clinical judgment, teamwork, and compassionate patient/family support.

Relocation assistance of $10,000 is offered for qualified candidates. Requirements include an RN license (AZ or compact), 1 year acute care RN experience, and ACLS/BLS certifications with EKG competency.

Qualifications

• Associates degree of Nursing (or foreign equivalent)
• One year acute care RN experience
• Valid compact state or Arizona RN license
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certificate
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certificate
• Demonstrates competency in basic EKG skills by passing EKG test or completing basic EKG class/modules within six (6) months
• Bachelor's degree of Nursing or foreign equivalent (preferred)
• One year pediatric RN experience (preferred)
• American Heart Association Advanced Pediatric Life Support certificate (preferred)

Job description

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Pediatric Adult MST Nurse, you will help provide excellent care to patients who require medical and surgical interventions.

Every day, you will be responsible for assessing patients' health status, administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, and providing patient education. You will also be expected to maintain accurate documentation of patient care and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary health-careteam.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to provide compassionate care to patients and their families.

• Provides assessment planning implementation and evaluation of care for patients from adolescent to geriatric


• Handles patients with more complex situations with assistance and supervision


• Assists with managing patient care administered by other members

Job Requirements
