UVA Health Children's Pediatric Acute Care Occupational Therapy team is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our growing pediatric inpatient program. You will provide advanced OT services to medically complex infants and children across NICU, PICU, and general pediatrics, while contributing to clinical excellence and program expansion.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other pediatric specialists to deliver

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Experience: 3+ years relevant professional experience required.
• Licensure: Licensed to practice in Occupational Therapy in the Commonwealth of Virginia. AHA Health Care Provider BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating and treating pediatric patients in acute care settings
• Developing individualized treatment plans
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams
• Supporting family and caregiver education
• Managing complex inpatient caseloads
• Serving as a mentor, preceptor, or clinical resource
• Participating in quality improvement and practice advancement initiatives
