The Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Texas Children's Hospital is seeking a Director for its Adult Congenital Heart Failure Service. The role is part of Baylor College of Medicine’s academic health system, offering a premier research and teaching environment in Houston.

Qualifications

• Completed fellowships in Cardiology and Adult Congenital Heart Disease.
• Board-eligible or certified in Cardiology and ACHD.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient clinical care for adults with congenital heart disease, with emphasis on advanced heart failure and pre-transplant care.
• Contribute to growth and innovation of the ACHD Heart Failure and Transplant Program, including quality improvement initiatives and care pathway development.
• Participate in academic activities including teaching fellows, residents, and medical students, and scholarly publications.
• Share call coverage for ACHD and/or heart failure and transplant services.
• Evaluate referring provider needs and partner with leadership to communicate Heart Failure and Transplant processes and results.
• Provide clinical guidance and leadership to medical and nursing staff.
• Role model ethical and professional behavior with every interaction.
• Provide strategic leadership for growth and development of the program.
