The selected candidate will provide family-centered care for acutely ill or injured infants, children, and teens in the Beeghly Emergency Department, which handles over 38,000 visits annually. Enjoy working in a new 35,000 sq ft, state-of-the-art ED with 23 treatment rooms. Our Beeghly campus ED collaborates with the Akron campus, a designated Level 1 trauma center. Akron Children's Hospital is the only pediatric hospital in northeast Ohio with its own helicopter and pediatric transport team.
This position is a 501(c)(3) site qualifying for Public Service Loan Forgiveness through the Federal government.
Requirements include MD or DO degree, board eligibility/certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and the ability to obtain an active medical license in Ohio.
