Job summary

Ballard Marine Construction LLC is hiring Commercial Diver/Tender for a Pearl Harbor project in Hawaii, with mobilization anticipated in August. The initial assignment is expected to last three to four weeks, with potential for extension.

Duties include underwater dredging, pressure washing, dive tending, equipment setup, inspections, and safety-focused operations. Travel, lodging, and per diem are provided; divers must bring approved dive hat and bailout system.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in commercial diving operations.
• Demonstrated ability to perform dive tending and underwater construction tasks.
• Must adhere to ADCI safety standards and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform commercial diving and tending assignments as directed by the Dive Supervisor.
• Support dredging, jetting, pressure washing, inspections, rigging, salvage, and other underwater construction activities.
• Set up, inspect, maintain, and break down commercial diving and construction equipment.
• Operate hand, power, pneumatic, hydraulic, and cutting tools when trained and assigned.
• Participate in pre-dive planning, Job Hazard Analyses, and daily safety discussions.
• Follow Ballard procedures, project requirements, ADCI standards, and Dive Supervisor direction.
• Work closely with divers, tenders, and project personnel to maintain safe and efficient operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support project needs.
