Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of related experience.
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree in an agricultural-related field.
• Proven ability to work in outdoor field environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain research plots for peanut trials.
• Support routine crop management including irrigation, fertilization, and weed control.
• Collect, record, and maintain research data and observations from field and greenhouse activities.
• Travel to off-site locations across Georgia to support breeding and evaluation activities.
• Operate, calibrate laboratory and field equipment; ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Coordinate seed handling, packaging, and inventory as part of experiments.
