We are hiring a Nurse Manager for the Adolescent Psych Unit at Peace Hospital - 1 Lourdes.
Location: 2020 Newberg Road
Shift: Full-time, Varied
Peace Hospital, part of UofL Health, is a private, non-profit behavioral health hospital. It is one of the largest behavioral health facilities nationally, providing care for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors aged 55 and older. Our Kosair for Kids Children’s Peace Center is the largest private provider of youth inpatient behavioral health services in the country, treating children and adolescents with behavioral health and co-occurring disorders. We also offer partial hospitalization and inpatient programs for children and adolescents with complex needs, including intellectual or developmental disabilities.

The Nurse Manager oversees the operations of assigned units/departments on a 24-hour basis, including fiscal management, staff development, and resource management, with the goal of providing the highest quality, safe patient care.
Average shift length: 8 hours
Shifts per week: 5
Overtime: Not typically required (exempt position)
Education: BSc in Nursing required; MSc in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred
Experience: At least 4 years in an acute care setting (internal candidates), 5 years (external candidates), and 3 years at Peace Hospital; prior management experience preferred
Licensure: Active Kentucky RN license or compact license
Certification: Leadership or clinical specialty certification required; must obtain within 3 years if not present at hire
