Job summary

Larson Design Group is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer to lead design efforts and coordinate multi‑discipline projects. You will oversee design activities, QA/QC, and collaboration across teams, ensuring technical excellence and timely delivery.

The role emphasizes project scheduling, budget management, and mentoring junior engineers while delivering high-quality construction documents and client‑facing results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in engineering from ABET‑accredited school.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of job-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs independent planning and design tasks, reviews the work of others, prepares construction documents, and delivers projects to completion.
• Works on technically complex projects and applies advanced knowledge to resolve challenges.
• Maintains cross-functional working relationships within the project team.
• Conducts initial QA/QC reviews of project submissions to ensure client requirements and technical standards are met.
• Assists senior management with schedules, technical proposals, and labor hour estimates.
• Develops and manages design budgets for routine scopes of work.
• Provides guidance and training to engineering associates and interns.
