Job summary

Olsson seeks a Licensed Engineer (PE) to join our Roadway team, driving planning, design, and delivery of roadway projects of varying size. You will contribute technical expertise and support project management while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include leading roadway design, preparing plans and cost estimates, and coordinating with multiple disciplines throughout the project lifecycle. A PE license and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in civil engineering, transportation emphasis preferred.
• Minimum of 4+ years of related engineering experience.
• Knowledge of municipal and DOT standards and procedures.
• Registered PE in Arkansas or ability to obtain within six months.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support planning and design of roadway projects.
• Prepare and review plans, specifications, and construction documents.
• Perform design calculations for horizontal/vertical alignments and drainage.
• Develop cost estimates and assist with budgeting, scheduling, and coordination.
• Collaborate with traffic, bridge, drainage, survey, and environmental teams.
• Communicate with clients and project teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Support or lead project management, tracking progress and quality.
• Conduct site visits and field observations to support design and construction.
