Job description

Will consider a Sr PE with 10+ years for a remote position.

We are seeking a Structural Project Engineer with approximately 5-10 years of experience. This is a full-time engineering position in our busy and growing Structural Engineering Group. Our markets include commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, recreational, and government projects throughout New England.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing calculations using current material and building codes and relevant design standards.
  • Proficiency with design software such as Ram, Enercalc, and RetainPro, among others.
  • Ability to work in Revit for the preparation of drawings and sketches including completion of redlines.
  • Conducting field work to survey existing conditions or review project conformance with plans.
  • Workload coordination, client relations, and management.
  • Quality assurance and reviews.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil or structural engineering.
  • AutoCAD and Revit proficiency required and comfortable with engineering design software.
  • PE or ability to obtain within 6-12 months is preferred.
  • Strong technical skills combined with clear, concise written and verbal communication skills are important.
