Job summary

Excel Fitness in Owasso is seeking a dedicated Team Player to deliver high-quality PE@PF training and member support. You will design safe, effective programs, guide members on the gym floor, and maintain detailed session logs. The role requires certification, strong leadership, and excellent communication to promote engagement.

The ideal candidate can manage small groups, assist with front desk duties, and help maintain a clean, welcoming club environment aligned with Planet Fitness standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Active Personal Training Certification with recertification planned 1 month before expiration.
• If uncertified, opportunity to complete a trainer certification within 30 days of employment.
• CPR/AED certification required; CPR/AED training within first 30 days if not certified.
• Proven ability to lead, encourage, develop, and supervise others.
• Familiar with Excel, Planet Fitness brand, and club operations.

Responsibilities

• Design exercise programs for members based on experience, medical background, and goals.
• Train members during PE@PF small group sessions and on the club floor.
• Maintain training logs and attendance in club management software.
• Inspect equipment and report malfunctions; perform basic maintenance.
• Engage members to drive loyalty and promote PE@PF programs.
• Assist front desk operations and represent the company at community events.
