Automation Personnel Services is seeking a PE Licensed Structural Engineer for a company based in Bessemer, AL. The role involves collaborating with 3D CAD and engineering software to develop structural designs for buildings and other infrastructures.

The position requires PE licensure and a bachelor’s degree. Revit experience is preferred, and candidates must be able to read a tape measure to 1/32 inch. This is a full-time on-site opportunity with benefits and a referral bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately to 1/32 inch.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift building materials.

Responsibilities

• Create structural designs for buildings and other infrastructures, ensuring compliance with local and international codes.
• Analyze pressures, stresses, and strains on structural components to ensure safety and durability.
• Work closely with Architects, Electrical engineers, and construction teams to integrate structural designs with project goals.
• Prepare detailed reports, drawings, and calculations for stakeholders, including clients and regulatory bodies.
