We support students who may be disconnected from traditional education due to trauma, behavioral challenges, and social-emotional or mental health needs.

Position Summary

We are seeking a Full-Time Physical Education & Health Teacher to provide engaging, structured, and developmentally appropriate instruction across multiple grade levels. This role integrates physical activity, wellness education, and trauma-informed practices to help students develop healthy coping skills, teamwork abilities, emotional regulation, and personal responsibility. The PE/Health Teacher is an important member of our MTSS and behavior support systems, helping students channel energy in positive, productive ways.

What You'll Do

• Teach Physical Education and Health across various grade levels.
• Design engaging lessons that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and lifelong wellness habits.
• Integrate health education topics, including nutrition, stress management, and personal wellness.
• Utilize trauma-informed practices to support emotional regulation through movement.
• Create a structured, safe, and supportive learning environment.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse academic, behavioral, and physical ability levels.
• Apply MTSS frameworks within instruction and student support.
• Maintain accurate records and engage in ongoing professional growth.
