Job summary

Atlantic Group in New York seeks an accounting professional to support our fund accounting and reporting functions. This role focuses on fund of fund structures, hedge funds, and related partnerships.

You will assist with admissions of new members, processing investor redemptions, subscription and redemption activities, cash management, audits, and regulatory filings. The position offers growth in a dynamic financial environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of public, fund, or corporate accounting experience
• Experience with hedge funds, private equity, real estate funds, or fund of funds

Responsibilities

• Support the accounting and reporting function for fund operations
• Assist with admissions of new members to funds and processing investor redemptions
• Assist with subscription and redemption processes for investments or withdrawals
• Support cash management across legal entities
• Assist with the annual audit process
• Assist with regulatory filings
• Special projects on ad hoc basis

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Broadly, support for the accounting and reporting function with respect to:

• Our fund of fund vehicles being administered by a TPA
• Personal investment vehicles maintained by firm owners
• Tax reporting and compliance across various limited partnerships

Additionally, this position will provide some level of:

• Support with respect to admission of new members to our funds, as well as the processing and payment of investor redemptions
• Support with respect to the subscription and redemption process when our funds make investments or withdrawals/redemptions
• Support of the cash management across the legal entities
• Assistance with the annual audit process.
• Assistance with regulatory filings
• Special projects on an ad hoc basis

Qualifications:

• 2 - 5 years of public, fund, or corporate accounting experience
• Experience with hedge fund, private equity, real estate funds, or fund of fund structures
