Description

This position involves supporting classroom teachers in educating students about physical education, fostering a love of learning, and promoting character traits aligned with Beta Academy standards. The PE Coach will supervise students during various activities, manage discipline, and ensure a safe, orderly, and engaging environment. Responsibilities include implementing instructional methods, maintaining professionalism, communicating effectively with staff and parents, and ensuring compliance with school policies.

Qualifications
  • Must be a certified Educational Aide OR have a high school diploma and 48 hours of higher education OR have an Associate Degree OR have successfully completed the THEA or other appropriate examination of core academic ability.
Education/Certification

A minimum of passing the THEA required for Highly Qualified status. Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred. Six months to one year related experience or training helpful. Teacher’s Certificate recommended but not required.

Employment Terms

Full-Time, 10 Month, Salary: $54,000-$56,000 annually.
