Job summary

Confidential Professional Services Platform in New York seeks a hands-on Chief Financial Officer to partner with executive leadership and investors in driving growth, integration, and value creation across multiple entities and practice groups.

You will lead financial strategy, oversee budgeting, consolidation, and reporting, and manage acquisition diligence, integration, and capital allocation in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in finance and accounting

Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy in alignment with PE sponsors and executive leadership
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance visibility across a multi-entity platform
• Oversee all accounting and finance functions, ensuring accuracy, speed, and scalability
• Partner on acquisition strategy, including financial diligence, integration, and post-close performance tracking
• Build and standardize reporting across locations and practice groups to create consistency and transparency
• Establish and enforce KPIs tied to revenue growth, utilization, margins, and cash flow
• Lead integration of acquired businesses, including systems, processes, and reporting structures
• Enhance internal controls and financial infrastructure to support a high-growth environment
• Serve as a key voice in strategic decision-making, capital allocation, and operational improvement
