Job summary

Finatal is partnering with a private equity sponsor to appoint a Chief Financial Officer for a new buy-and-build construction & engineering services platform in Florida. The role will work closely with the PE sponsor and management to establish scaling, planning, and controls for rapid growth, integration, and transaction readiness.

Qualifications

• Must have CFO experience in a private equity backed buy-and-build environment.
• Construction/engineering services experience strongly preferred; project-based models.
• Experience with POC accounting, WIP reporting, and project-based business models.
• Proven track record building and scaling finance functions in growth and M&A driven companies.

Responsibilities

• Build, scale, and professionalize the finance function to support a rapidly growing, acquisition-driven PE platform.
• Lead financial planning, forecasting, and controls in a PE-backed operating environment.
• Establish scalable systems, reporting, and processes for rapid growth and integration of acquisitions.
• Own financial execution of M&A, including due diligence, deal modeling, integration, and post-acquisition performance tracking.
