About the role

The primary objective of the Recruiting Manager role is to provide general oversight and guidance to the recruitment team, with the goal of enhancing performance, driving individual profitability, and maintaining a team cohesion. The successful Recruiting Manager will lead a team of staffing professionals in recruitment, order management, and excellent customer service.

What you'll be doing

* Provide on-the-job training, coaching, daily oversite of production, and monitoring of activities

* Set individual goals with recruiters and clarifying expectations

* Set and maintain production metrics/KPI's (calls, external submittals, and placements)

* Conduct regular meetings with team members to discuss successes and address areas of improvement

* Serve as a point of escalation for team member issues

* Provide ongoing training for new recruiters by assisting with candidate screening, development of search strings, and priority management

* Evaluate metrics/KPI's and forecasting for month end/quarter end

* Lead by example by producing at or above same metric levels/KPI's

* Provide team feedback, metrics, and progress reports to the Management Team

* Assist in interviewing new internal candidates and make hiring and termination recommendations to the Managing Director

* Maintain and uphold professionalism within the team

* Continue to support and grow accounts from staffing and account management

About you

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

* Three to five years of progressive experience in a recruiting or staffing agency

* At least one year of team lead or management experience

* Demonstrated experience in the development and management of a recruitment team

* Knowledge and understanding of commission structures and recruiting metrics

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:

* Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.

* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

* Troubleshooting and problem analysis.

* Ability to adapt to changes in the business environment quickly.

* Ability to focus on client needs with a commitment to quality and customer service.

* Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

* Ability to interpret and understand employment-related laws, rules and regulations.

* Knowledge of and the ability to utilize basic technology and online tools.

* Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
