VIVA Pediatrics is a pediatric home health services agency specializing in private duty nursing, skilled nursing visits, and therapy for infants and children (birth through 20 years). Our dedicated team provides high-quality care to medically fragile children, committed to exceptional patient care.

Major Duties And Responsibilities
  1. Provide quality patient care according to care plans and physician’s orders.
  2. Deliver skilled nursing care conforming to agency policies.
  3. Comply with all policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook.
  4. Document care provided in accordance with state and agency requirements.
  5. Implement and evaluate individual patient care plans.
  6. Communicate patient status, incidents, hospitalizations, ER visits, and medication questions to the supervising RN.
  7. Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, patients, families, and physicians.
  8. Follow all safety and privacy policies, maintaining confidentiality of PHI.
  9. Maintain proper documentation and clinical records in compliance with laws.
  10. Coordinate schedules with office staff and ensure punctuality.
  11. Meet continuing education requirements for licensure.
  12. Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
  1. Current Texas State Licensure as a LVN or RN, or from an approved compact state.
  2. At least 1 year of relevant work experience or 6 months pediatric home health experience.
  3. CPR Certification.
  4. Valid Driver's License.
