Job summary

Henry Schein in the United States seeks a detail-oriented item creation and maintenance specialist who will collaborate with Marketing, Purchasing, and Suppliers to ensure regulatory compliance and accurate costing across divisions.

You will manage price changes, review invoices, update PO costs, and set up new items, while analyzing supplier pricing to sustain cost integrity and drive optimal performance.

Qualifications

• Typically 4 or more years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma acceptable with experience.
• Travel typically less than 10%.

Responsibilities

• Price Change Management: analyze cost changes and communicate impact to teams.
• Invoice discrepancy review and resolution with AP for assigned suppliers.
• Update purchase orders and cost files; validate legitimacy of cost changes.
• Set up new items for designated divisions; ensure regulatory and contractual compliance.
• Maintain item data and assist with sales restrictions and inventory accuracy.
