Skyworks Solutions, Inc. invites you to join as a PDK Development Winter/Spring Co-Op (Jan–June '27). Gain hands-on exposure to world-class analog/mixed-signal design and help develop device models, pcells, and rule decks used in chip design.

You will work with senior engineers across 22nm and below, validate PDK releases, and learn scripting for automation and QA in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a technical degree in EE/CE or related field.
• Experience with semiconductor device physics, circuit design, or VLSI/analog design from coursework or projects.
• Familiarity with CAD/EDA tools like Cadence Virtuoso from coursework or internships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PDK components: device models, pcells, technology files, DRC/LVS/PEX decks.
• Validate PDK releases against foundry docs and internal benchmarks.
• Assist in device characterization for HBT and GaAs process techs.
• Enable foundry technologies at 22nm and above for analog/mixed-signal IPs with guidance.
• Document PDK issues through collaboration with foundries and design teams.
• Contribute to regression and QA infrastructure for PDK releases; manage version control and release notes.
• Own a defined project or tool improvement during the internship with mentorship.
