Job summary

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking a dependable Pre-Delivery Mechanic to inspect, prepare, and ensure vehicles are ready for customer delivery. You will perform thorough inspections, document defects, and complete minor repairs as needed.

Must have a valid driver's license and pass driving record checks. Starting pay is $37.48 per hour, with union representation and a focus on safety and quality standards across our global team.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive dealership inspecting or repair experience preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift/move parts.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough Pre-Delivery Inspections on new and used vehicles.
• Identify scratches, dents, paint defects, fit-and-finish issues, and mechanical concerns.
• Verify equipment and options match vehicle specifications and repair as needed.
• Document findings and communicate required repairs to management.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area in line with safety procedures.
