Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Bio-Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2+ years’ experience in medical devices preferred; or 8 years of medical device development experience.
• Experience writing test protocols and reports and conducting testing.
• Knowledge of design control processes in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop implant and instrument designs using CAD models, drawings, and GD&T.
• Lead engineering deliverables for small projects from concept to product launch.
• Communicate technical concepts with cross-functional teams and customers.
• Support design control, risk management, traceability matrices, and validation testing.
• Review CAD models for tolerancing and manufacturability; contribute to BKMs and quality checks.
