Job summary

The Association for Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is seeking a Professional Development Coordinator for a part-time role (~20 hours/week) in Arlington, VA. The incumbent will split time between AFP headquarters two days a week (Tuesday and Wednesday) and remote work as needed.

Responsibilities include coordinating professional development programs, supporting license courses, and assisting digital programs such as webinars and e-courses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational experience.
• 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a fast-paced professional environment.
• Experience with professional development activities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support AFP professional development programs and services.
• Support course licensing and revenue-generating education offerings.
• Assist with digital programs such as webinars, e-courses, and virtual events.
• Provide staff support for volunteer committees and meetings; prepare agendas and minutes.
• Process payments and invoices and provide frontline customer service as needed.
• Assist vendor research and RFx processes for new vendors.
