Job summary

Advantis Medical Staffing has a 13-week Travel PCU RN contract at Cleveland Clinic Akron General in Akron, OH. This Nights shift role pays $2,079 per week with a 3x12 schedule and supports quick credentialing and Day 1 benefits.

As a PCU RN, you will provide progressive care, monitor patients, document care, and collaborate with physicians and the care team in fast-moving situations. Travel clinicians receive streamlined credentialing and license support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent PCU nursing experience.
• Active Ohio RN License.

Responsibilities

• Manage higher-acuity patients stepping down from intensive care who require close monitoring.
• Monitor continuous telemetry and hemodynamic status, recognizing and escalating changes promptly.
• Administer medications and IV therapy, including titratable drips approved for the unit, per facility protocol.
• Care for patients on high-flow oxygen and non-invasive ventilation when assigned.

In this PCU travel nursing role, you will provide progressive care in a hospital setting, assess and monitor patient conditions, support urgent interventions, document care accurately, and collaborate with physicians and the clinical care team during fast-moving patient situations.
