Job summary

Advantis Medical Staffing is seeking a Travel PCU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract at Yakima Memorial Hospital in Yakima, Washington. This Nights shift position features a 3x12 schedule and pay of $2,298 per week.

You will provide progressive care, monitor patient conditions, administer medications, document care, and collaborate with physicians and the care team in fast-moving scenarios. Travel requirements include 2+ years PCU experience and an active WA RN license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of PCU nursing experience.
• Active Washington RN License.
• Experience with telemetry and progressive care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage higher-acuity patients stepping down from intensive care with close monitoring.
• Monitor telemetry and hemodynamic status, escalate changes promptly.
• Administer medications and IV therapy per unit protocol.
• Care for patients on high-flow oxygen and non-invasive ventilation as assigned.

This PCU travel nurse position in Yakima, Washington, with Advantis Medical is a 13-week Travel PCU Registered Nurse (RN) contract at Yakima Memorial Hospital. This role pays $2,298 per week and follows a Nights shift with a 3x12 schedule.

In this PCU travel nursing role, you will provide progressive care in a hospital setting, assess and monitor patient conditions, support urgent interventions, document care accurately, and collaborate with physicians and the clinical care team during fast-moving patient situations.

Responsibilities

• Manage higher-acuity patients stepping down from intensive care who require close monitoring
• Monitor continuous telemetry and hemodynamic status, recognizing and escalating changes promptly
• Administer medications and IV therapy, including titratable drips approved for the unit, per facility protocol
• Care for patients on high-flow oxygen and non-invasive ventilation when assigned

Travel Nursing Requirements:

• 2+ years of recent PCU nursing experience
• Active Washington RN License
