Job summary

Select Source International is seeking a Registered Nurse for a PCU/Stepdown position in Jackson, MI. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience, managing medication drips, and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

This is a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week on the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nursing care and collaborate with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of recent experience as a PCU, Stepdown, or Telemetry RN.
• Experience managing medication drips.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients requiring progressive or stepdown level care.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Administer and manage IV medications and continuous medication drips.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.
