Talented Medical Solutions is seeking experienced PCU RNs for a travel assignment in Casa Grande, Arizona. Join a progressive care unit team delivering focused nursing care for patients requiring close monitoring and higher acuity than med-surg.

This 13-week contract runs 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, 36 hours per week, with day shifts and varied weekends. Candidates must have active RN license for Arizona and PCU experience, ready to travel outside the state.

Qualifications

• Recent PCU/Progressive Care Unit experience required.
• Active RN license eligible to work in Arizona.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be flexible with weekends/holidays.
• Must be flexible with varied shifts.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Progressive Care Unit environment.
• Perform focused and comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Closely monitor patients requiring increased observation and intervention.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac status, oxygenation, and other relevant clinical parameters.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, ancillary departments, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment, medications, and discharge needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and hospital policies.
