First Choice Nurses (FCN) is hiring experienced PCU Registered Nurses for per diem hospital shifts in Virginia. Take control of your schedule with 7a-7p and 7p-7a shifts; pick up as many or as few shifts as you like and enjoy options like daily and weekly pay.

Qualified candidates must have a Virginia RN license, 2 years of recent PCU experience, BLS, ACLS, TB testing within 12 months, and vaccination or approved exemption.

Qualifications

• RN license in Virginia or compact license accepted
• 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within past 4 years
• Current BLS
• Current ACLS
• Quantiferon-TB Gold test within past 12 months
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions in acute-care hospital settings
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records and adhere to infection-control standards
• Educate patients and families about care and discharge plans
• Adapt to different hospital units and environments
